About CalcMyScore

CalcMyScore is a free set of calculators for students — work out the grade you need on a final, your weighted grade, your GPA, and your estimated AP exam score. Everything runs instantly in your browser, with no account and nothing to install.

How accurate is it?

Grade and GPA math is exact— it's arithmetic, and we show the formula on each page. AP scores are estimates. The College Board re-equates every exam and does not publish official cutoffs, so our AP calculators use widely-cited composite curves from past released exams. Treat them as a strong prediction, not a guarantee.

Who runs CalcMyScore

CalcMyScoreis an independent project, not a company or a testing organization. It's built and maintained by people who care about getting the math right and keeping the tools free and fast. If you spot a number that looks wrong, email hello@calcmyscore.online; corrections are welcome and we act on them.

How we build the AP estimates

For each AP subject we model the real exam structure, how many multiple-choice and free-response questions there are and how each section is weighted into the composite, then map that composite to a 1 to 5 using cutoffs cross-checked across several sources, including College Board released exams and widely-cited score curves. When the Board redesigns an exam, such as the 2025 changes to AP Physics and AP Psychology, we update the underlying data so the calculator matches the current test. Since the Board re-equates each administration and never publishes official cutoffs, every AP result is labeled an estimate.
