Why students use CalcMyScore

Instant. Every calculator runs in your browser, so the answer updates as you type. Nothing to install, no account.

Accurate. Grade and GPA math is exact. AP results are estimates, reconstructed from released exams and clearly labeled as such.

Private. Your scores never leave your device. We don't store anything you type.

What you can work out here

CalcMyScore is a small set of calculators for the questions students actually ask near the end of a term. The final grade calculator tells you the exact score you need on a final to land the grade you want. The weighted grade calculator combines homework, tests, and projects by their real weights, and the GPA calculator turns letter grades and credits into a 4.0-scale GPA. For AP students, the AP score calculator estimates your 1 to 5 from section scores across 25 subjects, each modeled on that exam's real format.

Every result here is arithmetic you could do by hand, so we show the formula on each page rather than asking you to trust a black box. The one exception is the AP estimates, and how we build those curvesis written up in full, including what the College Board does and doesn't publish. If a number ever looks wrong to you, tell usand we'll check it against the source.

Frequently asked questions

Are the calculators free?

Yes, all of them, with no account and no sign-up. Open a tool, type your numbers, and the answer updates as you go.

Do you store the grades I enter?

No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type never reach our servers and aren't saved anywhere.

How accurate are the AP score estimates?

The grade and GPA math is exact arithmetic. AP scores are estimates. The College Board sets its 1-5 boundaries through a standard-setting and equating process and does not publish the composite cutoffs, so ours are reconstructed from released exams and third-party score curves. Every AP result on this site is labeled an estimate.

What is the difference between weighted and unweighted GPA?

Unweighted GPA puts every class on the same 4.0 scale; weighted GPA gives honors and AP classes extra points, often up to 5.0. The GPA calculator handles both.

Do these work on a phone?

Yes. The site works on phones, tablets, and computers, and the calculators behave the same on every screen size.
